Tech Tip:

The IT staff that work the UAA 1-800 call in number during the later evening shift  can be really good at problem solving, and seems like in the late evening perhaps the requests are coming in slower and they can take extra time. I had a couple great instances of getting all the help I needed resolving a Blackboard problem with an IT staff person. One evening he was willing to take the time to teach me how to rewrite a small piece of code that allowed recorded lectures (from another instructor) to show up correctly in Blackboard. Perhaps he had no idea that I didn’t even get what he was talking about at first, but his patience allowed me to learn something that was a major technology step up for me!
